Ibeo Automotive Systems GmbH is a worldwide technology leader in the field of LiDAR sensors (acronym for Light Detection and Ranging), associated products, and software tools. The technology is applied in cars as safety assistance systems, or in the field of autonomous driving. It is Ibeo’s goal to reinvent mobility by enabling cars to become cooperative partners in the driving process, thus making transportation safer. Ibeo has over 250 employees in Hamburg, Germany, and Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Since 2016, the Zukunft Ventures GmbH, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the German automotive supplier ZF Friedrichshafen AG, holds a 40 percent share in Ibeo Automotive Systems GmbH. In 2018, Ibeo celebrated its 20th anniversary.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
At Ibeo automotive systems we develop systems for LiDAR-based vehicle environment detection, which form the foundation for driver assistance systems (ADAS) up to Level 5 of Automated driving. You will support teams and customers in the commissioning and validation of automated driving functions in the automotive and industrial context.
Integration of software packages and hardware components for customer releases as well as for internal development
Review and testing of software integration and hardware components for releases
Diagnosing and troubleshooting networking issues and configurations in collaboration with other teams
Deployment of hardware and software at customers' sites and integration into customer systems and vehicles
Software Development for communication interfaces
Usability Improvement of releases for customers, documentation, reports and communication of problems and improvement possibilities for customer experience
REQUIREMENTS:
Completed degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification
Extensive experience with Linux operating systems and vehicle BUS systems such as CAN, SOME/IP, FlexRay and Ethernet protocols
Good knowledge of programming languages such as C and / or C ++ in embedded Systems is a big Advantage
Very good written and spoken English, German and/or Chinese is a big Advantage
Willingness to travel to customer sites
Class B driving Licence
