Wonder if you already get answer about the driver licence. If not, here's a tip :
Since you already got the driving licence in China, you could ranslate with authority approval and it's valid for 6 months (start the day you arrive Germany). Then you still need theory test and pratical test (driving test) to get German driving licence. The benefit for China Driving licence is that you don't have to follow driving school schedule for the classes (which cost a lot of money).
