Main Responsibilities:
Payroll System (e.g.: SAP): Ensure the monthly payroll for local employees or expatriates. Perform file imports into payroll system from various sources and review and verify payroll data in a
timely manner.
Legal Requirements: Preparing letters and certificates for Government authorities and social security agencies. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local tax regulations as well
as wage and hour laws.
Pay Slips: First point of contact for all employees regarding pay slips. Respond to routine inquiries from employees concerning payroll deductions, wage garnishments, tax calculation and social
security contributions.
Reporting: Creating monthly reporting files and updating personnel folders. Create and monitor various reports. Inspect automated system output such as registers and standard reports,
determine and correct out-of-balance or error conditions. Ensure accurate reporting into our global HR management system.
Audits: Supporting internal and external audits. Utilizing existing standard and ad hoc report libraries to assist with payroll auditing.
Payroll Projects: Supporting several HR related projects.
Requirements:
Solid experience with German taxation and social security law (Lohnsteuer- und Sozialversicherungsrecht).
Comfortable with a standard payroll system e.g. SAP HCM.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
Familiar with ELSTAM, SEPA and AVMG.
Excellent German and advanced English skills.
Motivated and interested in working in an international team.
