Senior Manager of supplier management

Job description:

1. Responsible for supplier management in the Europe region. Regularly visits the senior management teams of suppliers to maintain good relationships at the executive level.

2. Formulates supplier management strategies; locks in supplies of low-availability resources; executes supplier collaboration and development plans; obtains the best terms for Huawei from suppliers.

3. Encourages suppliers to innovate with Huawei; identifies real value of suppliers; exercises strategic control over key technologies.

4. Manages implementation of the in-Europe procurement strategy; develops suppliers' potential; upgrades and expands our relationships with suppliers in Europe.

Required skills and experience:

1. Bachelor's or higher degree in science, engineering, communications, electronics, automation, or other related fields.

2. Strong team work and communication skills; able to adapt to a multicultural environment.

3. Over 10 years' experience in R&D, sales, or procurement in Europe's semi-conductor, electronics, communications, or automation industries; a good reputation within the industry.

4. Fluent German, English, and Chinese (must be able to use them as working languages).

5. Applicants with experience at with large multinational companies preferred, including those in industries other than communications and electronics.
