该奖的和平奖得主是印度人比哈利。他用了18年时间证明自己仍活着。<br><br>　　事情原来是这样的：印度一些官员腐败，收了别人贿赂，注销了比哈利的户籍，宣布他已经死亡，这样，行贿的人就可以名正言顺地“继承”他的财产。<br><br>　　此事发生在1976年。后来比哈利发现还有许多印度同胞有相同的遭遇，生生的大活人，硬是被说成死人。<br><br>　　比哈利带头发起了一场“生前运动”，为这些不幸的人含冤。他还成立了“死人协会”向政府施加压力。<br><br>　　IgNobels奖是在美国哈佛大学的桑德尔斯剧院颁发的。比哈利受邀前来领奖。可是他那“半死不活”的身份却成了绊脚石。<br><br>　　一名组委说，“印度政府不承认比哈利是个活人，可却发给他一本护照。而美国政府虽然办事效率高也乐于助人，却不给比哈利签证。不管怎么说，死而复活的人，总应该得到些额外的帮助吧。”<br><br>　　医学奖<br><br>　　IgNobels医学奖由伦敦大学一个研究小组夺得。他们的“贡献”是证明了出租车司机大脑的海马(延伸于脑的每一个侧脑室下角底一条海马状突起)比一般人要大。<br><br>　　在鸟类和动物中，大脑的这个部分是用来进行与导航相关的活动的。<br><br>　　这个研究小组还发现，出租车司机“工龄”越长，大脑的海马部位就越大。<br><br>　　文学奖<br><br>　　IgNobels文学奖得主是纽约市泽克林商学院的约翰·特林考斯。他对日常生活观察得仔细的不能再仔细了，撰写了80份详尽的报告。他的观察都包括：<br><br>　　行人脚穿彩色而非白色运动鞋的人的比例；<br><br>　　上班族手拎公文箱的人的比例；<br><br>　　在超市快速付款通道付钱的顾客购买物品数超限，这样的人数比例；<br><br>　　不喜欢汤菜味道的学生人数比例。<br><br>　　其它奖项：<br><br>　　工程奖授予约翰·保罗·斯特拉普，爱德华A.莫菲(均为生前)和乔治·尼克斯，他们的贡献是在1949年创立莫菲定律，也就是基本的工程原则：有可能出错的事情，均会出错。<br><br>　　物理奖授予澳大利亚一个小组，该小组成功地分析出将一头羊拉过不同平面所需要的力量。<br><br>　　化学奖授予一名日本人，此人研究出日本某城市的一座铜像为什么不吸引鸽子。<br><br>　　经济学奖授予卡尔·施瓦泽勒和欧洲袖珍国列支敦士登，奖励的原因是他们可以让人将一个国家租下来举办公司会议，婚礼和其他聚会。<br><br>　　跨学科研究奖授予斯德哥尔摩大学的一个小组，该小组的研究成果是：为什么鸡喜欢漂亮的人？<br><br>　　生物奖授予荷兰人CW莫伊莱克，他首次用科学的方法纪录到绿头鸭中同性恋死癖现象。<br>
