Los Angeles Times Beijing Bureau is looking for an energetic full-time Chinese researcher with strong English-language, good translation skills, keen research abilities and the capability to be good with people.
The ideal candidate should also have a good news sense and phone manners, an ability to navigate around problems and the willingness to travel and adapt to a flexible schedule.
Candidates should have a pronounced curiosity about social, cultural and political changes occurring in China, be adept at writing business emails and setting up appointments quickly, be able to do in-depth research on the internet and with limited guidance.
