PMT Integration & Architecture
Scope, objective and relevance of position
In order to cope with the new requirements and the constantly increasing complexity of future vehicle generations, this position is responsible for the development of new processes and methods and derivation of tool requirements as well as ensuring the orderly productive implementation of new tools and thus supporting the establishment of new processes
Key tasks and responsibilities
Analysis and design of integrated and automatable combined PMT solutions (process/methods/tool)
Develop methods, guidelines, directives, templates and tools for architecture management or requirements management across all architectural levels: functional, logical, technical, software, traceably linked to the requirements at all specification levels
Analyse working methods and define processes together with process experts in architecture and integration
Collect and analyze use cases and requirements and prioritize and detail these as backlog items
Ensure that PMT development is targeted to meet the requirements of the function developers using PMT
Implementation of the PMT solutions
Accompany the development of the applications and continuously develop and improve the methods and tools
Prepare training documents as well as coordinate the execution of training courses in the supervised area of responsibility
In case of problems and queries, help users with expert knowledge on respective PMT focus
PMT development compliance
Perform and ensure PMT development in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Take into account new requirements from industry standards such as A-SPICE and the Group initiative for function-oriented systems engineering (FUSE)
Coordination, alignment and communication with interface partners
Ensure the consistency of processes and tools, you coordinate with interface partners from other departments, IT and other brands
Coordinate requirements with users, create detailed specifications and discuss them with development partners
Define release planning, accept new tool releases and ensure successful implementation through appropriate user communication with interface partners
Qualification and skills
Education:
University degree in Engineering (preferably automotive engineering, electrical engineering)
Professional Experience:
Minimum 5 years work experience in the (automotive) electronic industry or similar
Several years of professional experience in one of the following areas of expertise
Systems engineering (requirements management or SysML/UML) or Embedded software engineering (e.g. AUTOSAR) or Continuous integration (e.g. Jenkins, Docker) or Virtual development (e.g. OpenScenario, VTD, GTA, ADTF) or Integration of tools into an IT infrastructure,
Deep understanding of automotive processes & procedures
Familiar with VWAG organization, systems and processes regarding testing as a plus
Experience in the independent handling of projects in a process-oriented way of working
Experience in agile working methods (e.g. SCRUM, SAFE, etc.)
Knowledge of the standards for systems engineering (ISO 15288), software engineering (ISO 12207) or process maturity (ISO 15504, A-SPICE, CMMI, SCRUM) are an advantage
Knowledge of functional safety according to ISO 26262, SOTIF are an advantage

Release Management/ CSO Interface
Key tasks and responsibilities
Planning, classification and active monitoring of releases in large, complex and highly available environments
Plan release windows and the overall release lifecycle
Plan and generate releases as well as the corresponding release notes and change documentation
• Create and maintain the release plan
Manage risks that may affect release scope
Design release guidelines to be implemented across by all relevant stakeholders
Create and maintain the feature plan and the milestone plan
Develop roll-back scenarios and execute post-implementation reviews
Ensure smooth and efficient project roll out
Standardization, further development and documentation of process flows
Track and document the necessary process requirements to ensure consistent quality of the releases
Support the definition of the integration and release process
Definition of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the control and verification of the process to generate trends, improvements and measures
Communication, alignment and reporting on release topics
Ensure regular communication with the relevant parties in order to optimize and identify appropriate measures
Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements
Align with Quality Assurance teams to ensure compliance to the guidelines of the project and check that these standards are met
Qualification and skills
Education:
University degree in Engineering (preferably automotive engineering or electrical engineering)
Professional Experience:
Minimum 3 years work experience in the (automotive) electronic industry or similar
Deep understanding of automotive processes & procedures
Familiar with VWAG organization, systems and processes regarding testing as a plus
Experience in the independent handling of projects in a process-oriented way of working
Practical experience in release management in larger environments (experience in the use of Feature Toggles, dynamic stages etc.)
Knowledge of IT infrastructure, middleware and application development
