To strengthen our team in Germany, we are looking for a full-time employee to start immediately as:
(Senior) Warehouse Manager (m/f/d)Place of work: Düsseldorf office

Your Responsibilities:

• Both strategical and operational management of our warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision.
• Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving & distribution, quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service, etc.
• Schedule and oversee warehouse team, manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
• Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance when necessary.
• Oversee and manage logistics for transporting products to customers and company facilities, communicating with drivers and air partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages.
• Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
• Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies, conduct negotiation on Terms and Conditions with forwarders.
• Plan work routines, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results.
• Recruit, select, coach and motivate employees, prepare annual budget on manpower.
• Produce reports and statistics regularly (Inbounding/Outbounding status report etc.)
• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security, adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements.
  

Your Profile:

• Bachelor degree in logistics or supply chain management or similar education background.
• 8-10 years working experience in warehouse environment, preferable with 5 years’ experience as a warehouse manager, either with at least middle-sized logistics company’s or companies managing their own warehouse.
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures, software and databases and best practices.
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
• Excellent communicatorand decision maker, sympathy and sound leadership; hands-on experience to manage multi-cultural team including external workers and cooperate with different stakeholders.
• Fluent in German or Chinese language both verbally and in writing, good conversational in English.
