1. Senior Scientist/Engineer in Hydrogen Energy

Your responsibilities

• Develop the strategic plan in hydrogen energy and set up technology R&D, product R&D and project development teams.
• Keep pace with the development trend of hydrogen energy fields in green hydrogen synthesis, utilization and pollution control worldwide, collect and analyze industry data, identify and perform the research and evaluation of key technologies and products, and provide decision-making basis for R&D.
• Perform R&D of green hydrogen synthesis technology, system integration technology and key equipment.
  
  

Your background

• Advanced degree in catalysis, chemical engineering and technology, electrochemistry. PhD preferred.
• 3+ years in a similar role, 3+ years of overseas study or work experience.
• Direct experience with the development and operation of hydrogen synthesis technology.
• An innovative and independent thinker. Demonstrated ability to quickly and creatively solve complex technical problems as reflected in publications, patents, commercial products and other research outcomes.
• Comfortable with networking, able to relate to people of different backgrounds, good with oral and written communication. Energetic and self-motivated. Willing to work with a flexible schedule in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
• Speak and write English fluently.
  
  

2. Marketing/Business Development Manager

Your responsibilities

• Work with Focus Area Leaders to develop detailed business plan and financial model for potential businesses.
• Develop marketing/commercial strategy. Specifically, work closely with R&D team to conduct technology due diligence and market analysis and accelerate technology transfer and technology adoption processes.
• Lead discussion and negotiations in external partnership. Build relationship with potential customers and collaborators.
• Work closely with our Beijing site technical expert panel and business development managers to keep the goals aligned and results delivered in time.
  
  

Your background

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing or a related field.
• Experience in technology development, deployment, and commercialization. Working knowledge of Finance, Marketing, and Operation.
• Strategic thinking – must have an extremely developed sense of business acumen. Be able to develop and adapt different business models, able to anticipate and respond to external factors, with a highly developed skill around judging risk and return.
• Advanced selling skills - qualifying prospects, lead generation, new business development, account penetration, strategic selling, conceptual selling, issues-based selling, consultative selling, negotiation and contracts (closing).
• Building networks and Influence – must have a record of building strong networks, and be able to influence senior stakeholders internally and externally including government or other external bodies.   
• Team work – must enjoy working as part of cross functional teams, using the skills of others to deliver the plans.
• Results orientation – must have a strong action orientation and with a strong entrepreneurial spirit to seize opportunities.
• Integrity – must demonstrate high integrity and be able to quickly build relationships on trust.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment, at all levels of the organization and able to build long-term relationships with customers/partners.
• Multi-culture (German, Chinese) background, Proficient Germany, English and Chinese   communication skills.
  
  

3. Senior Scientist/Engineer in New Materials and Energy Storage

Your responsibilities

• Develop the strategic plan in energy storage and set up technology R&D, product R&D and project development teams.
• Keep pace with the development trend of energy storage field worldwide, collect and analyze industry data, identify and perform the research and evaluation of key technologies and products, and provide decision-making basis for R&D.
• Perform new energy materials and processes development and engineering transformation business.
• Perform R&D of energy storage system supporting technologies (power electronics, energy storage battery management, etc.).
  
  

Your background

• Advanced degree in electrochemistry, chemical engineering and technology, machinery, manufacturing, energy storage. PhD preferred.
• 3+ years in a similar role, 3+ years of overseas study or work experience.
• Direct experience with the development and operation of energy storage system modules, experience in energy storage project development is a plus.
• An innovative and independent thinker. Demonstrated ability to quickly and creatively solve complex technical problems.
• Excellent communication skill and a good team player. Energetic and self-motivated. Willing to work with flexible schedule in a fast-paced, start-up environment.

4. Senior Scientist/Engineer in Electrocatalysis

Your responsibilities

• Conducting research and development activities in the field of electrocatalysis.
• Design and test new electrocatalyst materials, processes and systems.
• Analyze data and interpret results to make recommendations for improvements.
• Collaborate with other researchers and engineers to develop new technologies.
• Conduct experiments and simulations to evaluate the effectiveness of different electrocatalysts.
• Develop and maintain research facilities and equipment.
• Write technical reports and give presentations to communicate research findings.
• Participate in grant writing and project proposal development.
  
  

Your background

• Advanced degree in electrochemistry, chemical engineering and technology, machinery, manufacturing, energy storage. PhD preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in research and development in electrocatalysis.
• Strong understanding of electrocatalysis principles and electrochemical processes.
• Ability to design and conduct experiments, analyze data, and interpret results.
• Proficiency in scientific software, data analysis and programming languages.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of grant and project proposal writing.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Excellent communication skill and a good team player. Energetic and self-motivated. Willing to work with flexible schedule in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
