Time and Love

Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived: happiness, sadness, knowledge, and all the others, including love.<br>One day it was announced to all of the feelings that the island was going to sink to the bottom of the ocean. So all the feelings prepared their boats to leave.<br>Love was the only one that stayed. She wanted to preserve the island paradise until the last possible moment. When the island was almost totally under love decided, it was time to leave.<br>She began looking for someone to ask for help. Just then, Richness was passing by in a grand boat. Love asked,”Richness, can I come with you on your boat?" Richness answered, “I’m sorry, but there is a lot of silver and gold on my boat and there would be no room for you anywhere."<br>Then Love decided to ask Vanity for help who was passing in a beautiful vessel. Love cried out, "Vanity, help me please." "I can&#39;t help you", Vanity said,”You are all wet and will damage my beautiful boat."<br>Next, Love saw Sadness passing by. Love said, "Sadness, please let me go with you." Sadness answered,”Love, I&#39;m sorry, but, I just need to be alone now."<br>Then, Love saw Happiness. Love cried out, "Happiness, please take me with you." However, Happiness was so overjoyed that he did not hear Love calling to him.<br>Love began to cry. Then, she heard a voice say,”Come Love, I will take you with me." It was an elder. Love felt so blessed and overjoyed that she forgot to ask the elder his name. When they arrived, safely on land the elder went on his way. Love realized how much she owed the elder.<br>Love then found Knowledge and asked,”Who was it that helped me?" "It was Time", Knowledge answered. "But why did Time help me when no one else would?", Love asked. Knowledge smiled and with deep wisdom and sincerity, answered, "Because only Time is capable of understanding how great Love is."<br>

The Facts of Life:<br><br>1. At least 5 people in this world love you so much they would die for you.<br>2. At least 15 people in this world love you, in some way.<br>3. The only reason anyone would ever hate you, is because they want to be just like you.<br>4. A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone, even if they don&#39;t like you.<br>5. Every night, SOMEONE thinks about you before they go to sleep.<br>6. You mean the world to someone.<br>7. Without you, someone may not be living.<br>8. You are special and unique, in your own way.<br>9. Someone that you do not know even exists loves you.<br>10. When you make the biggest mistake ever, something good comes from it.<br>11. When you think the world has turned its back on you, look; you most likely turned your back on the world.<br>12. When you think you have no chance at getting what you want, you probably won&#39;t get it, but if you believe in yourself, you probably eventually will get it.<br>13. Always remember compliments you received, forget about the rude remarks.<br>14. Always tell someone how you feel about him or her, you will feel much better when they know.<br>15. If you have a great friend, take the time to let them know that they are great.<br>

从前有个神秘的岛屿,住着快乐,悲哀,知识和爱,还有其他各种情感，包括爱。<br>一天,情感们得知小岛快要下沉了,于是大家都开始准备船只,决定离开小岛,但是只有爱没有准备,它想坚持到最后一刻. <br><br>就这样过了几天,小岛真的快要下沉了,爱才知道实在只有离开了。<br><br>爱想请人帮忙. 正巧富裕坐着大船经过，爱对富裕说:"富裕,你能带我走吗?&#39;. <br><br>富裕说:"不,我的船上有许多金银珠宝,没有你的位置&#39;. <br><br>爱看见虚荣在一艘华丽的小船上."虚荣,帮帮我吧&#33;~&#39;. <br><br>"我帮不了你,你全身都湿透了,会弄脏我这漂亮的小船的&#39;虚荣说&#33; <br><br>悲哀过来了,爱向它求助,"悲哀,让我和你一起走吧&#39; <br><br>"哦,爱&#33;我实在是太悲哀了,我想自己静静的呆会儿&#39;悲哀答道. <br><br>快乐经过爱的身边,但是它太快乐了,居然没有听到爱在叫它&#33; <br><br>爱几乎有些绝望了,突然,一个声音传来,"过来,爱,我带你走&#39; <br><br>这是一位长者,爱大喜过望,竟然忘了问它的名字。登上陆地,长者离开之后，爱才意识到自己应该对长者如何感谢。爱于是跑去问另一位长者,"知识大伯,刚刚帮我的那个人是谁啊? <br><br>"它是时间&#39;知识老人答道. <br><br>"时间?&#39;爱问道,"为什么时间要帮我?&#39; <br><br>知识老人笑道"因为只有时间才能理解爱有多伟大&#33;<br>
