We are currently recruiting a teacher of Vietnamese language in the BMBF
project „Southeast Asian Studies at Freiburg: Grounding Area Studies in

" O1 ~3 I7 E  Z/ o1 x/ TTasks: designing and teaching an intermediate Vietnamese language course in
' u: X" O% P, u, ~* T4 esummer term 2011.

The course will start from May 2 until August 6, 2011 and will be held at
the teacher’s convenience once or twice weekly (3x45 min. /week) at the
" T- c0 M4 z8 }8 P1 W2 MInstitute of Foreign Languages/SLI ( http://www.sli.uni-freiburg.de/ ) of
the University of Freiburg. The course materials may be either in German or
# H/ b$ k( s: {) F* Win English languages.
. d* H& S/ c+ K2 S- O
The intermediate course represents the second part of the BOK module
; ?( e: t/ h* M7 _, C: G0 h7 K1 E“Vietnamese for Beginners”. The first part of the module consisting of an
introductory course was completed in the summer term 2010 and respectively
winter term 2010/2011.

9 I7 z& I7 x" j8 h% NThe BOK module “Vietnamese Language for Beginners” will be taught in the
& s: g; c- k7 P+ |! n  K; t3 ?; Eacademic years 2011/2012 and 2012/2013 as well. Therefore, we especially
encourage Vietnamese native speakers as well as persons interested in the
longer term perspective to apply.
